These are super festive socks, with yellow stars topping Christmas trees full of twinkling bead "lights", and colourwork stripes throughout the leg and foot. Suitable for intermediate knitters, with knowledge of sock knitting and stranded colourwork.
There is a special star stitch, and beads are knitted into the Christmas trees. The socks are knitted from the cuff down, using either a set of 5 double pointed needles (this is how the pattern is written) or circular needles and the magic loop method if you prefer.

The pattern is written for 3 sizes, small (UK 5-6), medium (UK 6-7) and large (UK 7-8), but is very easily customizable to fit your own foot. As you're knitting from the cuff down, you can slip your work over your foot to check the fit of the leg, heel and foot as you go. There is enough yarn in the kit to make one pair up to size Large.
The kit is supplied in a gift box, and includes:
- Full colour printed pattern booklet, with step by step instructions
- All the yarn you need to make one pair of socks (please note colours may vary from images depending on what yarn is available, but will be as close to those shown as possible). The green yarn will be pre-threaded with beads.
- 3 stitch markers
- A darning needle to sew in the ends
For this project you will need a set of 2.50mm Double Pointed Needles and a sewing up needle.
